Stakeholder involvement in DoE is crucial

When we are talking about Design of Experiments we all understand the involvement of the statisticians and the scientists or engineers.

Yet there are often 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝗱 in the process. This can be the subject matter experts, the project manager, quality assurance and compliance teams, or operations and implementation teams. All of these stakeholders have knowledge to bring to the DoE process. They might have 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻. Such as blocking factors or hard to change factors. Alignment of all stakeholders also gives clarity and understanding on the objectives of the Design of Experiments.

Bringing diverse expertise around the table, in the analysis of the results, lets you 𝘁𝗮𝗽 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲, enhancing the quality of the experiment. This leads to more insightful and less biased results.
